Atlassian Brings AI Visual Tools and Partner Agents to Confluence, One Month After Cutting 1,600 Jobs

Atlassian is introducing Remix, a visual AI tool in open beta that transforms Confluence pages into charts, infographics, and scorecards without users needing to switch applications. Alongside three partner agents built on the Model Context Protocol, these will seamlessly carry Confluence content directly into Lovable, Replit, and Gamma from April 13.
Knowledge management software faces a presentation challenge. Teams invest significant effort documenting decisions, specifications, and meeting outcomes in Confluence, only to manually reformate this content for different audiences' needs. Atlassian aims to bridge this gap with two key announcements:
-
Remix: Allows teams to highlight any Confluence content—paragraphs, tables, or entire documents—and instruct Remix to generate a visual from it. Supported formats include data visualizations, infographics, scorecards, and charts, with more formats to be added over time. The generated visuals are layered on top of the original content and linked to its source, updating automatically as the underlying page changes.
-
Three partner agents: These will move Confluence content directly into specialist tools without any manual copying or custom integration work. Launching on April 13 are agents for Lovable, Replit, and Gamma.
Sanchan Saxena, Atlassian’s senior vice president of product for the Teamwork Collection, described Remix as a way to make Confluence more versatile: "With Remix and agents in Confluence, a single page becomes the starting point for whatever comes next: a clear story for leaders, a prototype for builders, or a walkthrough for customers, all from the same source of truth."
