Hackuity Raises $19M to Streamline AI-Driven Vulnerability Management
Hackuity, a Lyon-based cybersecurity startup, has secured $19 million in funding led by Forgepoint Capital International, bringing its total funding to $38 million. The company aims to utilize these funds for product development, enhance its AI capabilities, and expand its presence across Europe and Asia.
Patrick Ragaru, Hackuity's CEO and co-founder, emphasizes the growing challenge of managing a massive number of vulnerabilities, stating that "the volume of vulnerabilities would outpace any human’s capacity to respond." They position their software as an "agentic platform" that automates prioritization and remediation at lightning speed.
Hackuity's solution offers several key benefits:
- Reduces noise: Customers report a 99.99% reduction in critical vulnerability findings.
- Speeds up closure: Triples the rate at which vulnerabilities are addressed.
- Automates tasks: Allows for automation of up to 70% of exposure management work, resulting in significant cost savings for clients like French energy giant ENGIE and banking group BPCE.
Damien Henault, a managing director at Forgepoint Capital International, highlights the necessity for new approaches to vulnerability management, stating that "organizations can no longer rely on traditional vulnerability management approaches" in the face of AI-driven threats.
Key Features:
- Integrates with over 130 security tools.
- Scores vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, threat intelligence, and asset criticality.
- Routes fixes to relevant teams (security, IT, engineering).
Hackuity's innovative approach leverages AI to turn the complex challenge of vulnerability management into clear priorities for cybersecurity teams.
