Revolut is offering its customers free access to ChatGPT, the result of a new partnership with OpenAI. The fintech, serving over 75 million people worldwide, integrates ChatGPT Go into its subscription plans, providing anywhere from three months to a year of the service at no additional cost.
The benefit scales with users’ existing subscription tiers:
- Ultra tier: 12 months of ChatGPT Go and a 12-month "buddy pass" for a friend.
- Metal: One year of ChatGPT Go.
- Premium and Revolut Pro: Six months.
- Standard (free): Three months as a promotion.
This partnership builds on Revolut’s existing AI integrations, including its in-app assistant AIR and reported use of OpenAI models for fraud monitoring and customer support.
The rollout is phased: paid subscribers and Revolut Pro users can redeem the benefit immediately, while Plus and Standard customers will gain access over the coming weeks.
Users receive ChatGPT Go’s paid-lite version, powered by OpenAI’s GPT-5.6, which offers higher usage limits, file uploads, document analysis, image generation, and memory—features that distinguish a practical chatbot from casual interaction.
Revolut aims to bundle value into its subscriptions, having previously added perks like airport lounges and insurance, worth approximately €4,100 annually. This time, they’ve partnered with OpenAI to introduce AI as a lifestyle benefit rather than a banking feature.
"We’re excited to partner with Revolut and bring ChatGPT Go to millions of customers worldwide," said Emmanuel Marill, OpenAI’s managing director for EMEA, highlighting the deal’s reach. Similarly, OpenAI is expanding its partnerships in European finance, aiming to integrate its models into major institutions beyond its own apps.
