BRKZ Secures $31m to Scale AI-Enabled Building Materials Procurement
BRKZ, a technology-enabled building materials procurement platform based in Saudi Arabia, has announced the securing of $31 million in new capital for its next growth phase. This includes advancements in its AI-powered pricing and fulfillment engine, as well as the rollout of embedded financing solutions for contractors and suppliers.
Funding Details
The funding comprises:
- $13 million in Series B equity, co-led by Wa’ed Ventures, a venture capital arm of Aramco, and 500 Global. Other participants include BECO Capital and Anb Seed Fund.
- $18 million in growth debt from Stride Ventures, under BRKZ’s previously announced $30 million venture debt facility.
Growth and Impact
This round comes on the heels of strong growth for BRKZ, with revenue projected to triple in 2026, following a significant 2.5x year-on-year increase in 2025. Despite geopolitical challenges and supply chain disruptions across the Middle East, the company’s expansion reflects the increasing demand for digitized procurement, pricing transparency, and reliable fulfillment within the construction material supply chain.
BRKZ currently serves over 1,500 contracting companies and 150 building materials factories, supported by approximately 2,100 local and international suppliers. Since its inception, the company has facilitated sales of more than $133 million (SAR 500 million) in raw, local, and imported building materials and processed over $1.37 billion (SAR 5.13 billion) in RFQs through its platform.
Platform Functionality
BRKZ offers contractors, distributors, and factories a centralized platform to source local, imported, and raw materials from a comprehensive Saudi supplier network and international sourcing capabilities. It simplifies the procurement process by managing pricing, quality assurance, logistics, and flexible commercial terms through a single relationship.
Founder’s Perspective
"The past twelve months have solidified the need for our platform," stated Ibrahim Manna, BRKZ’s Founder and CEO. "Despite disruptions, we achieved record growth as contractors and factories continue to rely on us for reliable access to materials at competitive prices."
Investor Comments
Anas Alghatani, CEO of Wa’ed Ventures, expressed their investment confidence:
