Nexchip Semiconductor: China’s Third-Largest Pure-Play Foundry Listings in Hong Kong

Nexchip Semiconductor, the Hefei-based and state-backed chipmaker, is set to raise up to HK$6.98 billion (approximately $890 million) through a share sale, joining a recent surge of Chinese semiconductor companies going public.

This sudden rush underscores the growing importance of the semiconductor industry in China’s economic landscape.
