Chinese Robot Startup JoyIn Accuses OpenAI of Copying Its Ideas and Website
Chinese robotics startup JoyIn claims that OpenAI copied its ideas on recursive self-improvement and the design of its website. Its CEO, Guo Renjie, outlined these accusations in an open letter as JoyIn launched Aether, a model for humanoid robots. OpenAI has not yet responded to CNBC’s request for comment.

- Technical Architecture and Ideas: Guo alleges similarities between JoyIn‘s "extraterrestrial visitor" framework presented in Silicon Valley on August 16th and OpenAI‘s subsequent publications.
