Clueso Raises $10M for AI Agents that Make Corporate Video

Clueso has raised a $10M Series A led by Dharana Capital for AI agents that script, record, and maintain corporate video, bringing their total funding to $12M. The market they are entering is led by London's Synthesia, valued at $4B after raising $200M in a single round.

The Market and Competition

Clueso enters a market with a British leader, Synthesia, which has already secured a significant valuation and a strong presence among Fortune 100 companies. In contrast, Clueso's funding history pales in comparison, raising only 6% of what Synthesia achieved in a single round.

Clueso's Unique Approach

Clueso differentiates itself by capturing real software workflows, allowing its agents to navigate the software, perform tasks, and record footage autonomously. They can also integrate with other AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to manage video creation.

Customer Base and Growth

More than 1,000 businesses, including Atlassian, Zendesk, Seismic, and Ironclad, already use Clueso, claiming productivity gains of up to fivefold and 80% lower production costs. This growth is timely, as AI-native enterprise spending surged 94% year-on-year in Q1, outpacing traditional software growth.

Investment Round and Backers

The Series A round was unusual, with Dharana Capital leading the investment, while over 80% of the new money came from existing investors. The three new backers collectively received under $2M. Y Combinator and f7 Ventures are among the returning investors. European backing comes from Founders Future, a Paris-based investor.
