September 30, 2026

IONNA, the electric vehicle charging network backed by eight car manufacturers, has seen significant growth in its U.S. operations, now boasting over 180 charging sites—more than double the number at the start of 2026.

Key Highlights:

  • Network Expansion: IONNA operates the largest network in the U.S. with 400kW chargers.
  • Partnership Success: A recent partnership with Circle K has led to over 40 charging stations in convenience stores, with usage doubling since IONNA took over.
  • App Integrations: The network offers access through 19 apps, including Presto, ChargeHub, and EV Connect, with Volvo, Toyota, and Lexus support upcoming.
  • Driver Advisory Council: A new council comprised of Kyle Conner and Tom Moloughney will test a Driver’s Dashboard for real-time charging session details without app requirements.

Quote:

"The industry has regarded charging scale and quality as a tradeoff. However, our network's growth and satisfaction ratings show that drivers can expect both." - Seth Cutler, CEO of IONNA

Long-Term Vision:

IONNA aims to install at least 30,000 chargers across North America by the end of the decade, emphasizing both charging scale and quality.
