Nvidia-backed GMI Cloud raises $668m as contracted revenue tops $600m
GMI Cloud, a Mountain View company renting out Nvidia GPU servers, has secured $668 million in new financing, including $223 million in Series B equity and a $445 million credit facility. Led by ARCHIV, a San Francisco firm investing in AI and robotics, the round also attracted investors from Asia-Pacific, including DSC Investment, Trend Micro, KB Investment, Kyobo Life, and KT Corporation.
"AI is driving a new renaissance, and reliable compute is its foundation," said Alex Yeh, GMI Cloud's CEO.
Key Highlights:
- Contracted annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding $600 million, a ninefold increase from the end of 2025.
- Revenue already live in production has grown 4.5 times over the same period.
- Processes 4 trillion tokens per week across various customers, including Fireworks, Higgsfield, Nous Research, OpenRouter, Reflection, Cartesia, Trend Micro, and Utopai Studios.
- Plans to expand GPU capacity in the US, Taiwan, and the rest of Asia-Pacific.
GMI Cloud builds its infrastructure entirely based on Nvidia's recommendations, joining only seven other cloud providers to do so. The company leverages its strong ties to Taiwan, a global hub for AI server manufacturing, to ensure timely delivery.
"In AI infrastructure, a delivery date is a promise," added Yeh.
