Pharos Network Brings AI Agents On-Chain with Agent Native Upgrade for RealFi

Pharos Network, a financial Layer 1 blockchain, has announced an Agent Native upgrade at Korea Blockchain Week. It adds protocol-level infrastructure enabling AI agents to act as native participants in on-chain finance.

Pharos Network, a financial Layer 1 blockchain, revealed an Agent Native upgrade on the Korea Blockchain Week keynote stage. The upgrade introduces protocol-level infrastructure and AI-powered tools to allow AI agents to function as native participants in on-chain finance.

The rollout begins today and continues through Q4, featuring:

  • An Agent Native upgrade on the Pharos Testnet with sponsored transactions.
  • The Pharos Port Agent Widget for natural-language interaction with real-world assets.
  • A new AI portal at ai.pharos.xyz and collaboration with AnvitaMate.
  • A multi-year roadmap towards an Agent-Native Chain.

This announcement targets a key gap that has hindered AI agents on-chain: the lack of reusable Skill assets, reliable payment capabilities, and agent-to-agent collaboration. Pharos aims for agents to do more than answer questions – they should hold assets, access tools, coordinate with other agents, and pay for their actions.

  • Sponsored Transactions: Separates transaction initiation from payment, allowing applications or sponsors to cover costs while preserving the original sender's identity.

  • Pharos Port Agent Widget: Enables users to interact with real-world asset information in plain language.

  • ai.pharos.xyz: Provides Pharos Chain MCP, Developer Docs MCP, and the official SkillEngine.

  • AnvitaMate × Pharos: Offers local AI environment for developers building on Pharos.

Roadmap (through 2028):

  • Q4 2026: PoS staking and gas sponsorship on Testnet.
  • 2027: Agent Accounts, transaction interfaces, and State Economy deployment.
  • 2028: End-to-end Agent-Native workflows through an integrated stack.

The upgrade coincides with a brand refresh centered around the mission “Put Real-World Value to Work” and tagline "Built for the Agentic Economy". This reflects Pharos' focus on integrating real-world value into blockchain systems through its AI agent infrastructure.
