Reid Hoffman Joins Mosaic Ventures as Advisory Partner
Mosaic Ventures has announced that Reid Hoffman is joining as an advisory partner. The London-based seed and Series A venture capital firm has made AI its primary focus, and Hoffman’s role is to facilitate connections with US talent, networks, and capital.
Mosaic Ventures, founded in 2014 by Simon Levene and Toby Coppel, has a track record of investing in European AI startups. Its portfolio includes Parloa, a German conversational AI company, and Veriff from Estonia.
Hoffman, known for his work at Microsoft and LinkedIn, brings his Silicon Valley network to the table. He believes Europe is producing exceptional AI founders and aims to support their global scale. His contribution includes access to US talent, company connections, and investment opportunities.
This move is not unexpected, as Hoffman has previously advised Latin American software firm Globant. He has also been an investor in Mosaic since its inception and has worked with its partners for over 20 years, including their involvement with Entrepreneurs First.
Mosaic’s website and public announcements since 2018 don’t explicitly mention Hoffman, but his role is confirmed through other sources. The firm’s CEO has advocated for Europe to own and operate its AI infrastructure, and Hoffman’s addition supports this vision by offering faster access to American markets and resources.
Cristian Dina, CRO at The Next Web, notes that Hoffman’s join is significant, especially considering his connections and experience. At 23, Dina was also recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2025, representing a new generation of tech leaders.
