Samsung Group Invests 140 Trillion Won in Domestic Manufacturing over Next Decade
Samsung Group has set a significant goal for its domestic manufacturing plans over the next decade, allocating 140 trillion won (approximately $90 billion) to key industries in South Korea’s Chungcheong provinces. This ambitious initiative was revealed by Samsung Display CEO Yi Chung during an event in Asan on Thursday.
The focus areas include displays, memory chips, batteries, and chip-packaging materials, as the company looks to strengthen its position in these sectors.
This move is a strategic shift, aiming to solidify Samsung’s dominance in the global tech landscape.
