The Arena Group Renames Itself Paradium.AI, with Revenue Halving
The publisher of TheStreet, Parade, and Men’s Journal confirmed its new name and several other developments alongside its financial results, debt refinance, and acquisition.
Key Announcements:
- Name Change: The Arena Group is now Paradium.AI. The change is expected to be finalized by the end of August.
- Financial Results: Revenue for the second quarter stood at $22.2 million, down from $45 million a year earlier. Gross margin dropped to 39.2%, and adjusted EBITDA reached $4.4 million compared to $18.6 million in Q2 2025.
- Acquisition: The company acquired InfoSentience, a provider of an automated data engine, using cash on hand. It expects the deal to boost earnings this year.
- Debt Refinance: Arena extended its existing credit facility with a three-year maturity extension, eliminating a "significant near-term uncertainty."
- New Platform: Cutter Studios, a production platform for AI-made videos and articles, was launched.
Paul Edmondson, CEO of Paradium.AI, described this quarter as the official "pivot point" where their operational groundwork has converted into a durable technology advantage. The company is shifting away from legacy publishing to become a differentiated technology company focused on empowering independent creators.
InfoSentience’s automated data engine, which generates narratives from numbers, has been a key acquisition for Paradium.AI. This technology is particularly notable in sports, where MaxPreps is one of its best-known partners. The company plans to use the engine to support new clients while continuing to serve existing third-party customers.
The name "Paradium.AI" is already in use, even as the formal rebrand nears completion. This change reflects the company’s focus on automation and technology infrastructure, as highlighted by Ryan Bonini, general manager for sports and leisure: "a pivotal shift from traditional publishing to a robust technology infrastructure."
