Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, posted a teaser video on X on Thursday. It shows the old rainbow Apple logo, embroidered, and sets a launch for Tuesday 13 October.

“Welcome home. October 13,” Joswiak wrote.

Apple invited the press to an “Apple Experience” in Tribeca, New York, at 9am Eastern time, or 2pm in London and 3pm in Paris, as reported by 9to5Mac. Apple used a similar format for its MacBook Neo launch earlier this year. They have not confirmed whether it will be streamed.

What Apple is Expected to Show

Apple has not revealed what devices they will launch. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman on his Power On podcast, the expected lineup includes:

  • A smart home hub with a display
  • A new HomePod mini with a faster chip
  • A new Apple TV

Gurman further mentions that Apple initially planned to release these devices at the end of 2024, but brought their launch forward for a specific reason:

“They’ll rely on Siri AI.”

Apple released Siri AI with iOS 27 last month.

Devices Made with LG

Gurman also expects Apple to unveil home devices made in collaboration with LG, including:

  • A doorbell
  • A smart door lock
  • A thermostat
  • Indoor, outdoor, and floodlight cameras
  • A temperature sensor (to be released later)

Bloomberg first reported this LG partnership this week.
