Feldwerke pulls a €12M revolving credit facility behind a 100 MW agri-PV roll-out

Feldwerke Secures €12M Revolving Credit Facility for 100 MW Agri-PV Roll-Out

Feldwerke, a Munich-based developer specializing in agri-PV facilities, has secured a €12 million revolving credit facility to support the construction of its 100 MW portfolio over the next 18 months.

The company aims to utilize this debt financing, rather than equity, as working capital to convert its approved project pipeline into deliverable projects at a rapid pace. With approximately 250 MW in their pipeline, the new credit line finances the first 100 MW.

Agri-PV, or agrivoltaics, involves placing elevated solar arrays over crops or grazing land, enabling the production of both electricity and agricultural output per hectare. Germany, with its supportive EEG (Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz) tariff framework and ministerial backing, has emerged as a leading market for this technology over the past three years.

Feldwerke broke ground on Germany’s largest agri-PV park in Oberndorf am Lech last year, and their 17 MWp facility became operational in March 2026. They have seven other projects in approval, with a total pipeline of around 250 MW. The credit line is structured as a revolving facility, allowing Feldwerke to draw funds as milestones are achieved across multiple projects.

This financing decision reflects the market’s confidence in Feldwerke‘s track record and the wider German agri-PV market, which benefits from various incentives, including KfW 270 loan programs, EEG Marktprämie auctions, dedicated grants, and preferential permitting under specific configurations.
