Salesforce renames AIForce to SIForce as Trump’s AI rebrand spreads

Salesforce Renames AIForce to SIForce as Trump’s AI Rebrand Spreads

Salesforce is renaming its AIForce agent platform to SIForce, chief executive Marc Benioff announced on Friday, as Katherine Li reported for Business Insider.

“The era of Super Intelligence is here. AIForce is officially SIForce,” Benioff wrote on X.

The change only affects the agent platform, not the company’s name.

Following the President’s Lead

Benioff is the second prominent tech leader to comply with Donald Trump's request this week. Last Sunday, Elon Musk renamed SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI.

Both moves follow Trump's executive order on September 29th, which directed federal agencies to switch from using "artificial intelligence" to "super intelligence" in their official documents and websites. Although the order doesn't apply to private companies, Trump took it further on Thursday by declaring that anyone still using “artificial intelligence” is “THE ENEMY.”

A Name Change, Not a Milestone

Renaming a product does not imply that it has achieved superintelligence capabilities, as Business Insider notes. It leaves companies with "AI" in their names, such as OpenAI and Scale AI, in an awkward position. Neither company responded to Business Insider's inquiries.
